Hi Angela, I really like watching your videos, they are very informative and helpful for someone who just starting cleaning business.

I am not completely new to this business, but I only had 2 smaller houses for one year, and recently I have gotten more. One of the houses is bigger than my other ones, and also messier, but the owner wanted someone who would clean everything really good and told that she didn't like her previous house cleaner (her friend who's house I clean too said me that she cleaned everything in 2 hours) I asked her how many hours do you want me to clean? just so I had an idea, and she said 4 or 5 hours. I told her, it would probably be ok, but I said I would have to clean first and then would let her know how much it would be. After cleaning, I told her it would take me 5 and one half hours. For some reason, she was very shocked it took me so long, and said she only had money for 5 hours, I said it was to pay the remaining next time which she did.

I thought that after doing it for few times it would eventually take me 5.5 hours (first time I was there about 7 hours, but only charged her for 5.5). Then, after cleaning few times, I realized I undercharged her because house is very messy and about 2000 square feet (I don't clean 3 smallest rooms) . I would like to tell her (after cleaning 3 times by now) that it takes 6 hours, but I am not sure if it would be OK for me to do that since I already told her 5.5 hours.

Do you think I could do that? (I charged her $25 per hour, it was back in October, and I didn't know that prices now at least $35). The difference would be only $10, I originally charged her $140, but want to add to $150)
I also thought maybe I could just tell her after the New Year that prices went up and add more $20 total to make it $160 instead? But I am not sure about that either because I would have cleaned her house only for 4 month by then.
Could you please tell me what is the best for me to do?
    Thank you so much 🥰

I been cleaning someone house for around two years and those ladies are very meticulous about cleaning. In the beginning We set up a price i did low cause she and her sister was one of my first clients but I feel my job and time I spent there deserves more money. How I can ask the house owners for more on the house cleaning? Thank you Angela 💜
